Electrical problem
2001 Chevy Malibu 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my car, a 01 chevy Malibu starting acting out yesterday. When the car is turned off the floor lights (under the dashboard) and the beeping alert indicating that either a door is open or the key is in the ignition are on and won't turn off. When the car is running and in motion the lights and alert turn off but as soon as you come to a stop (while car running) the light will come back on. A friend suggested to check the relays on both of the fuse boards and I did so, unplugging one by one and nothing, both the lights and alert where still on. What's the cause of this and how do I fix it?

There is a bad door switch. More than likely the drivers door.
