Alarm system will not allow car to start even after the 10 minute reset period. Can I bypass this feature or pull a fuse.

Have you done a relearn on the pass-key?
GM PASS LOCK RELEARN- Ignition to "run" position, try to start and let key return to "run" position
Approx ten minutes security light will go off
Turn key "off" and wait 5 seconds
Repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 relearns.
Turn key off, then start it

Waiting 10 minutes bypasses the security system. That tells me there is a sensor or other issue not working. If you have a different key, try that first. If it doesn't help, it has to go to a dealer to be checked. They are the only ones with the proper test equipment.

Let me know what you find.

I have tried another key but same problem.I seen lots of people with same problem and have read some people have changed there sensor or ignition but still having same problem. Is there a way to reset it. Plus I have heard of people cutting a yellow wire that disables it.

Take it to a dealer so it can be properly fixed. Don't cut any wires. A dealer will have the proper test equipment to check the problem.

Let me know what you find.

The Chevrolet Corp. Says there is nothing they can do. The Chevrolet dealer charges $900- to fix (plus the $120- to tell you that its the theft system). I do not consider ten minutes a big inconvience anymore. The Chevrolet Corp. Will not own up to their default.
