I recently purchases a 2000 malibu. Everything pointed to a great car. Unexpectedly whild driving the car just shuts off. No power stearing, no rpms no engine idle at all. Temperatutre guage shows it at 180. Checked fluids and they are all full. After a short period of time the car will start. I cannot seem to figure out what triggers the malfunction. Mechanic friend of mine said it sounded like possibly fule filter is getting clogged, Seing if you could help. thanks 2carpros.
