2000 Chevy Malibu a lot miles

The accessory power and cigarette lighter fuses blow everytime I try to charge my phone or use my GPS. Is this a problem with the fuses or the devices or the car itself? I don't use the acc. power or lighter for anything else (so I never realise it doesn't work until I NEED it).

Also the light on the shift lever mysteriously stopped working and I can't find anything about it in my manual. Anyone know how to fix this??

It's not a problem with the fuse. It means you have either a short or an overload in the circuit.
you have to find it and fix it, then your fuses will stop blowing.
