Recently, I tried turning my car off and when I removed the key, the "key in ignition" bell continued to buzz as if the key was still in the ignition. The next day my battery was completely drained.

Is the ignition switch bad? If so, is the dealer the only ones that can repair? Also, what is the approx cost to repair.
