I have tried checking the trans fluid but there is no dip stick in the cap, I don't know if that is suppose to be that way or not. How can you tell if the level is full?

Manual sys, warm to operating temp, then shift thru all gears, leave in each gear 3 secs, then leave it running, raise on a lift, remove the plug, if fluid drips out, it's full, if fluid is added stop when it puors out.
