1998 Chevy Malibu stalling

My parents gave my 16 yr old the 98 malibu check engine light came on took it to the chevy dealer they replaced o2 sensor and fuel filter now the the car stalls at random could be at a light or driving 20 to 40 mph mostly when u come off the gas could use your help

It would help if you can tell us the code(s) that came on. In the meantime, you need to check some of your sensors, making sure that they are working properly.

* Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor: It monitors the intake manifold pressure changes resulting from changes in engine load and speed that the PCM uses to control fuel delivery and ignition timing.

* Throttle Position (TP) sensor: PCM uses output voltage of the TPS to determine fuel delivery based on throttle valve angle.

* Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor: It provides cylinder ID to the PCM to synchronize fuel delivery to ignition system.

* Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor: PCM uses the sensor to determine fuel injector sequence, ignition timing and engine rpm.
