my rocker arms stripped out where they go in to the head what can i do

happened to me a few times, i usually drill and retap a size larger. but i have also tryed thread repair kits, they work but i dont know how much id trust them as you can easily strip them back out again.

id drill and tap larger, there are also kits that glue in the head or can be welded in then you drill and tap that.
