1998 Chevy Malibu misfire code (p0300)

i have a '98 chevy malibu ,check engine light came on i check it and it gave me the p0300 code (random misfire) i test the spark plugs for current and they are getting current, i check the coil pack , on the service manual book says that on the primary resistance i got to get .400 to .800 ohms and when i check it the multimeter gave me 1.1, i don't know if i check it right or the coil pack is bad, (i set the multimeter on 200 ohms), also check the secondary resistance it should be 5000 to 8000 and it gave me 5.6 (i set the multimeter on 20k)
