1998 Chevy Malibu Engine Does not idle down

My engine does'nt idle down whenever i go about 50 MPH it seems to stay at that idle speed.

The check engine light is it On or has flashed-if so get it scanned for code/s.

Try cleaning out the throttle body and also the throttle plate could be sticking/check accelerator linkage/cable and test the throttle positon sensor
