1997 Chevy Malibu 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the driver side door on my car wont close all the way, it latches but when i take right turns the door lets go a little bit but it still latched, the door opens about an inch or so and the car door signal goes off on the dashboard telling me that i have a door open

is the latch catching ok. you can try to asjust the striker out and see if it will latch better.
