Hi everyone! I have a 00 Chevy malibu 3.1 v6 with 110k miles on it. I have a few problems with it, nothing major but it could turn into something major without fixing it.

1st problem:
My car when I first start it sometimes will if I put it in drive and start driving if I have to idle the engine will kind of seem like its almost trying to stall (it never does) it only happens within the first 5 minutes of starting it up. I have recently just waitied for the car to warm up a bit before driving it and that helps alot, it never does it when its warmed up.

My second problem:
The other problem is when I am driving from about 45-50 mph and 65mph and higher I get real bad vibrations coming from the front wheels, I also sometimes get the vibrations in the back wheels as well. Something also pops in the back suspensions when I go over speed bumps, it was not really noticiable before but it is starting to get louder.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, I am pretty handy with cars but don't know where to start on these two problems. Thanks alot!

Is the check engine light on or has it been on recently?

Vibrations are very tough things, always start simple, check for loose or worn suspension parts, check the tires for abnormal wear and have them balanced

The check engine light is not on and has never come on, on the car. It runs/drives excellant after about 5 minutes of waiting for the car to warm up. When I first turn on the car the RPM's are roughly around 1.5k and I just wait for them to drop to 1k and drive its fine. But if I don't wait untill its at 1k before I drive sometimes the car will act like its going to stall at an idle (within the first 5 minutes)

Anything else you need lemme know!

Mike
