Lumina won't start after changing plugs

I have a 1998 Chevy Lumina. All I did was change the spark plugs and plug wires along with the coil boxes.
Car had started just fine. Now the car will not even turn over and the VOLT light will come on once I put the key in.

Any suggestions?

Check your battery cable connections-to the starter to the battery, ground. Battery may have been drained? Are your lights strong?

Plugs wires and coils will not affect the lack of cranking. Somewhere in the starting system is my hunch.

Lights seem string and I even tried to jump it today and it would not turn over.

I will check the cables going from the battery to the engine and see if that turns anything up in the the morning... thanks for the suggestion.

If your lights are bright, your battery is probably not a problem, therefore no need to jump it. Carefully back track your steps and see if you didn't reconnect something disconnected. It seems either power isn't getting to the starter or it isn't responding to the power.

It would still crank even if the wires were not installed.

Ignition is secondary to the starting sytem. That is if the power is not getting past the starter, the motor won't spin over. Once the motor spins over, the three main ingredients need to be present.

Starter maybe, poor connection, igition switch come to mind. I tend to doubt alternater as the lights were bright.

I'm sure the problem wa solved as the was a while back. Too bad it wasn't updated.
