car startrs hrd need to give it gas after car warms up it surges 500 to 1500 in park or nutral and will die when at a light or slow rpm 1200

Hello, If you open the throttle a little during cranking, your bypassing the iac system, I can't say it is faulty, just a thought. If you floor the pedal, it may cut off the injectors. Can you check fuel pressure? A vacuum leak or sensor problem might cause a surge.

Can you check for codes? Some of the national brand auto stores will check some codes for free, if you can get it down there.
