Engine Performance problem
2001 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 133xxx miles

vehicle idles good in park, accelerates smoothly through all gears but every now and then it will jerk a little bit and start to pick up speed slowly after i come to a stop and still continue to jerk after it shifts gears.. i been hearing maybe a coil pack.. how would i know if it needed it?

Have the troublecodes checked. If there is a misfire issue, the code may identify the cylinder/s.

Some of the national brand autostores, will check codes for free.
