2001 Chevy Lumina Click sound from differential

I hear frequent click sound from differential, mostly in city driving condition. when every I lift my foot off the gas pedal, after some time a click sound is heard from differential and as on as I put back my foot again a louder click sound is heard.

Have you checked the CV joints? IS the sound worse when you are turning?
