I went and had my oil changed and the mechanic said I need a new water pump due to some movement but my car doesn't leak fluid nor does it make any noises. I guess being a women I don't want to get ripped off @ the cost of $221.00 to do something if it doesn't need doing.

well, if possible have a trusted friend lookat the water pump for leakage, also if the uper and lower radiator hoses are hot and no fluid is coming from the water pump then the pump is good
