I originally took off upper air intake and lower intake assuming it was an air intake leak, as they are common. But it appears there is a plug that is leaking, it is steel. I cannot find any documentation in any of my repair manuals to find out what this is?
I have uploaded in a picture and circled the problem. The s shape is top of block where lower air intake meets it.
Can anyone help.

No coolant in or around it
coolant came from the intake gasket
very common for the intake gasket to separate from the plastic around the water jacket causing coolant leak
they have an updated gasket for the subject

The oil pump is on the complete opposite side of the engine, and what ever this is, it is in fact leaking coolant.
