A check engine light comes on when I turn on the car. It does go off quickly. I had the oil changed today. How do I reset that light?

Hello,

The oil light reset is a fairly simple procedure.

To reset the oil change light:

Turn the ignition to on without starting the engine.
Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. If the light flashes twice then it has been reset.
Turn the key to off, then start the vehicle. The light should be off.

You also mentioned check engine light being illuminated during you start the vehicle the goes off after a little bit. Please note that is the standard operation and is normal.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
