1998 Chevy Lumina dashboard not working

Electrical problem
1998 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl 100000 miles

I recently had the engine replaced in my 1998 lumina with an engine from 1997 lumina. Now my dashboard does not work at all. Also everytime I Start the car the radio resets completely.

check fuses and ground wires
check the wires at starter motor
