1998 Chevy Lumina car will sporadically not turn over

when i turn the key, the lights come on, I can hear the fuel pump, but it wont turn over. not even a click. I got a new battery, had the starter tested and it was fine, i dont know what the problem is. Could I have a bad ignition switch?

yes. you could have a bad igntion switch. or a bad connection in the circuit.
