I have a 97 chevy Lumina with 150000 miles on it a few days ago when I was driving I noticed that the engine is over heating I stopped the car for 20 minutes and add more water into the radiator to cool-off the engine when I start driving againg it takes about 5 minutes for the raidator to over heat again. How do I fix it?

Hi:
This type of problem can be caused by a few things. It could be the thermostat sticking, a plugged radiator, a bad head gasket.

The cheapest and easiest thing to start with is the thermostat. That is where I would recommend starting. Let me know if it works.
