When car has been driven for a while and has warmed up, looses power, brakes "tighten up", sometimes the brake lights come on and car begins to over heat, sometimes the blinkers stop working and sometimes car will not shift gears. Doesn't happen all the time. Seems like it may be electrical? Not sure.

when this happends, check your alternator output and see what the voltage is. it should be around 13.8-14.5 volts.
