1997 Chevy Lumina 4 cyl Automatic
my car was coming up as 'low coolant' so i went to the store and bought anti-freeze coolant and put it in my car. after a day of putting it in i decided to check up on it after school and it was leaking but i couldn't find where. and it was like spitting out coolant or whatever. so i went to drive it around and smoke was coming the engine. i went to the car store and the guy told me my water pump was leaking and that i needed a new water pump which was like 23 bucks but the whole repair in putting it in was about 200-300 bucks. the guy also said that the pump had been broken for about 2 days now. if i drive it any more the engine will bust or whatever. what do i do?
