1996 Chevy Lumina my radio dosen't recieve power

hi i recently replace my radio in my 96 chevy lumina and then switch the radio to the factory relizing that i need a unlock code i went to switch them back and i replaced the dead battery with a new one and still no power to the radio was wondering if i set off the security do you have any ideas

You should still be getting power to the radio. Have you done the basics like check fuses and check the wiring to the radio for power?
