1996 Chevy Lumina dash lights,clock,&washer solvent do

Recently a new battery was installed by a friend. Subsequently when the head light switch is turned on the dash lights dont turn on and the clock on the radio turns off. Also the washer solvent pump will not work. I checked all the fuses and none are blown

Hi:

Check and make sure the ground cables going to the engine block and body are clean, secure, and tight.
