Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

1996 lumina car 3.1L ls model, i have replaced the alternator, battery and my car is still unable to to keep the battery charged, i have done a voltage test from the battery which is 12v without the car running when i run the car the voltage stays around 12 volts still, think i might have a faulty alternator or is there something else that may cause this problem.
