Electrical problem
1996 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Wife's car kept dying. Charged battery, ran fine for a day, then died. Replaced with new battery. Died while driving next day. Battery must not be getting recharged with Alternator. The engine compartment is SOOOOO tight and compact. Looks like a major task to get to Alternator. Is it doable for the average Joe mechanic?? Doesn't look like it!!
