1994 Chevy Lumina alternators

Just wanted to know if you could step by step me through changing my alternator on my 94 chevy lumina. Have never really believed in taking my car to a mechanic because it is much cheaper to do it myself and i dont mind the job usually. Your help would be great, thank you.

Hi:

First, disconnect the battery. Next, remove the wiring from the back of the alt. Next remove the serp belt. Next, unbolt the alt. I believe there are three bolts holding it.

To replace it, just reverse the procedure.
