1993 Chevy Lumina Wish bone can it be repaired

1993 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I was givin a Lumina and its in relly good shape other than the wishbone in rear is rotten. What is the wishbone and can it be repaired? I found this out when I went for an inspection sticker the guy said it was unrepairable.

Is he talking about the control arm? If so they are not repairable and must be replaced.
