1993 Chevy Lumina transmission won't dissengage when you st

when I drive the car when it is cold it shifts fine but after it warms up when you come up to stop, the transmission won't dissengage and kills the motor',just like your driving a manual car and forget to put the clutch in.Then you either have to let it set for awhile or start it and put it in gear and step on the gas to get it rolling.Other than that the car shifts fine.I've changed fluid and filter and put a additive in the transmission for a sticky valve,but nothing worked.as you can tell it does'nt have many miles on it for a 1992,I bought it off a elderly women that did'nt drive it much.

you have a stuck tcc solenoid in the transmission. it costs about 50 in parts and about 3 hours labor to replace it. most people reach down at the transmission and unplug the wire harness going to transmission for a temporary fix and never replace the solenoid, choice is yours. no damage to trans will occur by disconnecting tcc solenoid. your repair shop should know how to disconnect and or replace it if you would like. hope this helps
