Fusible link (HVAC) replaced; now transmission does not go into gear until warmed up 3-5 minutes; with it removed, transmission goes immediately into gear but slips. Any ideas on the cause? electronics? transmission? Reverse is the slowest to go into gear after warm up.

Hi:
I dont see any relarion between the work you had done and the transmisson. What is it that you disconnect that makes the trans work better? Also, does it slip when it warms-up? Finally, when was its last service (gasket / filter)?
