POOR GAS MILEAGE STALLING WHEN STOPPED?

1993 chevy lumina it gets very poor gas mileage my ford 250 gets better mileage rough idle and stalls at stops had tune up recently they could not find the problem any suggestions?

Sounds like a good sized vacuum leak. Get a can of spray gumout, spray the vac lines and maniflod area, when the idle changes, youve found the leak!

It sounds like you may have a stuck fuel injector. I would remove the spark plugs looking for the dark or wet plug, this will be the cylinder that is having an issue. Here is a guide to help as well.

Also, I have seen the fuel pressure regulator go bad and cause this as well, please remove the vacuum line for the regulator and if fuel is pressnet the regulator is bad.
