Engine Performance problem
1992 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When my daughter fills up the gas tank, it leeks gas. When it sits, it does not. I'm guessing that there is a hose/pipe/etc that runs from the tank to the input site. My son says that it is a welded part and that the gas tank would need to be dropped and emptied. I would think that it would be a hose and some clamps. Is this a do it your selfer or take it to the shop?

There is a steel filler tube where you place the fuel that attaches to a rubber hose which attaches to the fuel tank. It could be the hose, clamp, or a rusted filler tube or fuel tank. Are you able to get under the car to try and identify where the problem is coming from?
