I have a 92 chevy lumina 3.1 6cyl. car.My car has been turning off whether i'm driving or at a red light.I took it to Midas who then charged an arm and a leg for a tuneup. Two days later the car is the same,it stalls in the middle of driving, stalls when I stop.I ended up going to a diffrent mechanic who told me it was the fuel pump.Ihad the fuel pump, fuel strainer and fuel filter done, but it still sputters and stalls.I hope you have a answer for me cause this is driving me nuts wondering what is wrong with my car.Thank you jose from rochester n.y

Find a shop that is A.S.E. certified and have car scanned. There are lots of posibilities and you will end up buying a lot of unnecessary parts.
