A few months ago I took my car for an oil change, the mechanic told me that they couldn't change it due to the fact that my oil pan or oil gasket was missing. I want to know is that true and how much would one cost and how much would it be for labor?

If you ddint have a oil pan your oil wouldnt be in the car. At all. It would have no where to collect and would just fall out on the ground. You would be bone dry in minutes. And since its been a few months the oil pan aint gone. If the gasket was gone youd have oil drops anywhere. You noticing this?
