Does anyone know where the temperature control sensor is on a 1991 Chevy Lumina with a 3.1L V-6?
Also need to know where the O2 sensor is on that vehicle too.
THANKS!

Coolant temperature sensor?
Top left side of engine at coolant outlet.
The o2 sensor is in the exhaust before the converter, below the exhaust manifold.

Thanks alot Service Writer. Swapped out the easier of the two for now (which was the temp control) and so far the engine is not dying at stoplights - really got to give it a few days though to see if that did the trick. Appreciate your accuracy! Looks like I need to jack the car up and get under the exhaust manifold for the 02 sensor. Anyway, THANK YOU!

Mmm, well I dunno about 'easy', you had the smart part because 80% of this stuff is diagnosis!
Ill keep you posted on that 02 sensor though, I could find out real fast if your right about the 'easy' part!
