i have a 1990 lumina car 3.1 183000 miles im loosing antifreeze from somthing thats on my firewall and when i turn my heater on i smell antifreeze really bad and when i turn off my heater my windshield fogs up on me im not sure what the problem is i heard it is the heater coil please help as soon as possible thanx charles

yes it sounds like a bad heater core to me! or loose hoses.

hello im charles sorry to bother u but i have a quetion
im tring to replace my heater core in my 1990 chevy lumina 3.1 car right now im tring to remove the core cover but i cant figure out what type of screw or bolt it might be i tried a 5.5 mm socket i tried a phillips screw driver i cant get it please help as son as posible

I've look for the size of bolt/screw in my references not available couldn't give -could it be a torx heads screw.
