1990 Chevy Lumina fuel problems

I replaced the fuel pump and now the car dies at around 3000rpm

Do you have a check engine light or has flashed also when was the last tune-up?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specification and test the the TPS, MAP and MAT sensors.
