1990 Chevy Lumina brakes

I have no break lights and no breaks. They both went at the same time. I still need to blead the lines. Would the no breaks affect the lights. I checked the fuses and they are all good. Please help!

Find out why you don't have brakes could be leaking somewhere or air in it, once you obtain brakes and the lights still don't light up check the brake switch on the brake pedal
