windshield wipers

I have a 1991 Olds Cutlass calais. I turned my wipers on and they were frozen to my windshield. When I peeled them off the window and turned them back on, they didn't work. Even though they wont move the motor still runs. I can physicaly move the wipers with out the car being on. What do I need to replace?

the wiper motor consists(sp) of a plastic worm drive attached to the electric motor and a plastic spiral gear. it probily snaped the worm. remove and replace the wiper motor . good luck
