Transmission light came on?

I recently replaced the throttle position sensor. I did all the proper procedures like the “Haynes Automotive Repair Manual” suggested to do. As soon as I plugged the battery in and turned the car on the transmission light came on. Would you happen to know how this problem originated and how to fix this problem?

Transmission light came on and engine cut out. Waited for 15mins turned ignition on light stayed on but when engine started light went out. Car ran for aprox 3 miles light came on and engine cut out. Left car over night started car next day light went out ran for 7 miles same thing happened left car for 15mins and started again but only ran for 5 miles can anyone help and tell me the solution
