tire wear on the front

1996 chevy impala 5.7 litter with 126k i have replaced the tires four times on the front. i get it alined ever time but the inside of the tires still where down in 5000 to 8000 miles. what else might it be?

it still sounds like an alignment issue. i would take it to a different shop to have the alignment checked. if it's still out have them align it and make a complaint to the previous shop and request that they reimburse you. just make sure that the other shop makes sure that all the steering and suspension is tight and free from any play. loose parts can cause tire wear also.
