i have a 79 305 engine that im putting back together from a rebuild( dont say it...i have money issues) i have the timing gears and chain replaced and sitting on the marks. how do i time it so it will work when i finally put it back in the blazer im putting it in? is it just putting the distributor on the #1 and adjusting when it has power or what?
