porsche trouble please help me

I have a 1987 porsche 911 turbo and love it the other day my boost gage began to rise even when it was not supposed to be spooling up. the day after to current when i turn the key the boost gage shows that it is spooled up all the way when there couldn't be any way that it could b/c the car isn't even running, then when the car is crunk the boost gage still shows that it spooled up all the way, when i reach the 3-4000 rpm mark the turbo does not kick in why is this doing this to me.

Check the gauge it sounds like it is not working because is shows boost with out the car running, Next you could have a plugged exhaust system or a turbo that is failing for the performance issue.
