hi my friend has a problem he went have his car check at 3 differnt places the trouble p1174 and p300 came up can u help me to determine the problem

Forget P1174 for the moment. Fix P0300 first, it may fix P1174. If your friend still has the factory warranty available, he/she is better off taking the vehicle back to the dealership. They have the proper equipment to troubleshoot the fault.
