2007 Chevy Impala 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

MY WIFE STARTED CAR THERE WAS A FLAPPING NOISE AS SOON AS SHE STARTED CAR, NOISE DID NOT LAST LONG, NOISE NEVER CAN BACK UNTIL SHE STOP THE ENGINE ON THE CAR THEN NOISE STARTED AGAIN DID NOT LAST LONG THEN STOP

Have you checked the serpintine fan belt? It sounds like maybe it is going bad and pealing off bits this is why you hear and then it goes away. Check it out and let me know what you find.
