2006 Implana knocks when turning

2006 Chevy Impala 48k miles 3.9L V6 engine. Everytime I turn the wheel, either backing out of a parking spot or turning a corner, it sounds like there is a knocking noise coming from the front tire area. I can feel it in the steering wheel and hear it. It's only when I turn the wheel. Any ideas? Other than that, its runs fine.

You need to replace the steering intermediate shaft with the new updated part.
