2006 Chevy Impala what is a vent solenoid sensor

I'm trying to see what a vent solenoid sensor and that say that I need one or I won't be able to pump my gas in my car

It is a component of the EVAP system. I don't know what state you live in, but here is PA, it will cause it to fail state emission inspection. Are you having trouble getting fuel into the tank?
