how to reset the oil message on the dash..after the oil change.

Hi:
Is the change oil indicator a light, displayed in the odometer space, or in a different area? Regardless, try this first. With the engine off, turn the key to the run position and press the gas pedal to the floor three times and wait to see if it resets. You may hear a beep, see a small light in the shape of a wrench flash... wait at least 20 seconds before turning the key off before turning it back on to see if it reset.
